Sensej

Sensei is a Japanese word that is literally translated as "person born before another" and usually means "theacher", but is also used to show respect to someone who has achieved a certain level of mastery in an art form or some other skill. The three simple iron elements ( a square, a segment and a frame) that compose the Sensej cube lamp create a complex and surprising sensation of surrounding light.

Designed by Gellner as a prototype and reissued by Studio_Gellner in 2014, Sensej has become now a true design icon: simple, joyful and contemporary.
